Lattis was born in Arkansas. Saved at the age of nine, he felt called to preach the Gospel at the age of twelve. After attending Bible College for a year, he and Sharlotte were married and began working in churches as youth pastors and senior pastors. After eight years, Lattis felt the need to return to higher education. Although he and Sharlotte continued church ministry (the Campbells have pastored five churches in two states), Lattis earned a B.S in Pastoral Studies from Southwestern Assemblies of God University, a M.Div. in Practical Ministries, and  a D.Min. in Pentecostal Leadership from from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. Lattis has served in various capacities at both church and denominational levels. He has worked full-time in education since 1995. Lattis’s heart is to teach, train,  mentor, and empower men and women for Christian ministry and leadership.
