During the last few days of November, 2005, Lattis was invited to visit the Aniak Assembly of God, also known as the Kuskokwim Mission. Aniak is located on the Kuskokwim River about 317 miles west of Anchorage. Approximately 600 people live in Aniak. The church is pastored by Taylor Hayden. Pastor Taylor has a great heart for developing leaders in bush Alaska and is actively reaching out to villages along the Kuskokwim River System that do not have established evangelical churches. Lattis preached at the church and taught leadership development sessions to a group of developing leaders.
