Lattis and Sharlotte visited, in late October,  the village of Emmonak located in the Yukon River Delta region. The church in Emmonak is currently without a full-time pastor, but Phillip and Lynn Covlasky, long-time residents of Emmonak,  are giving good leadership to the congregation. Please pray for this church and village that full-time, resident pastors can be established and that the Gospel will have a clear witness in the community.

Emmonak is a predominately Yupik village and is located about 490 air miles from Anchorage on one of the major sections of the Yukon River and about 10 miles from the Bering Sea. There is no road system to Emmonak.
